ntroduced in October 2013, the MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) replaced the MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013). It included faster "Haswell" processors, improved integrated and discrete graphics, faster Thunderbolt 2.0 ports, faster PCIe-based flash storage, faster Wi-fi, and a $200 price-cut. It shipped in two configurations, of which the high-end model included a discrete GPU: 2.0 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB flash storage, integrated GPU, $1999 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB flash storage, integrated & discrete GPUs, $2599Built-to-order options included a faster 2.6 GHz processor and flash storage of up to 1 TB. In July 2014, the MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) was replaced by the MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014).
