Introduced in June 2012, the MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) improved on its predecessor, the MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011) with faster processors and graphics, more storage, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. It shipped in two configurations: 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 500 GB hard disk, 4 GB of RAM, $1199 2.9 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, 750 GB hard disk, 8 GB of RAM, $1499Build-to-order options included 8 GB of RAM, a 1 TB 5400 RPM hard disk, and 128, 256, or 512 GB SSDs. In June 2014, the 2.9 GHz model received a reduction in price to $1099, and the price of the 2.8 GHz model was reduced to $1299.
